GLASGOW’S League Cup semi-final second leg at Workington tonight (Saturday) has been called off due to the forecast of heavy rain throughout the day.
It means the Tigers will have to wait to try and secure their place in the competition’s final as they defend a 64-25 lead from the first leg.
The Ashfield men now have an extra 20 hours to recover from a bruising encounter at Somerset last night in the KO Cup semi-final first leg, which they won 38-34 after it was called off after 12 heats due to a curfew.
Tapes-up for the second leg against the Rebels tomorrow is at 3pm.
