STEWART Dickson insisted “we win and lose together” despite the disappointment of losing out at Peterborough tonight.
Glasgow surrendered a six-point lead at one stage to end the night 10 behind the Panthers, the home side knocking the visitors off the Premier League summit.
The Tigers couldn’t quite repeat the form of last night’s victory at Ipswich, even though they got off to a blistering start with two 5-1s by heat five.
They only managed one more heat winner before the end, and that proved to be their downfall as the home team – helped by a terrific showing from guest Lasse Bjerre – gradually edged clear.
The final blow came in heat 15 when Glasgow – needing a 3-3 to leave with a consolation point – were beaten with a 5-1.
Dickson said: “It was a great start, but a couple of decisions then went against us. However, they were the better team on the night.
“I have to thank Kyle Howarth who was a great guest in place of Rene Bach, scoring 10+1.
“There were some mixed performances over the two nights but the boys all mucked in and I can’t fault their efforts.
“I know one or two will be dissatisfied with their scores, but we win and lose together. We as a team need to find a bit more concurrency on the road.”
Glasgow come home from their mini tour with three points from a possible seven.
However, they have a chance to make amends on Sunday when Berwick come calling – and new signing Rene Bach, who hit double figures in Denmark tonight, makes his home debut.
Tigers scorers: Richie Worrall 10+1, Kyle Howarth (guest) 10+1, Danny Ayres 7, Aaron Summers 5, Richard Lawson 4+1, Coty Garcia 4+1, Nike Lunna R/R.
