Top of Table Clash Off

GLASGOW Tigers’ top-of-the-table clash against Sheffield Tigers today has been postponed due to a waterlogged track.

The circuit was left “sodden” following heavy rain over the last 24 hours, according to team manager Stewart Dickson.

It follows their meeting at Workington last night also being called off due to the weather.

Glasgow will have to wait two weeks for their next home fixture, as they are away to Scunthorpe in a week’s time. Before then, Richard Lawson and Aaron Summers represent the club in the Premier League Pairs Championship at Somerset on Friday.

The Tigers travel to Edinburgh on July 15 for the first leg of their KO Cup fixture, and then Rye House visit the Peugeot Ashfield Stadium on July 17.
