GLASGOW have been seeded straight into the Premier League play-off semi-finals after they finished second in the table.
Newcastle’s defeat at Ipswich tonight means that the Tigers can’t be caught by the Diamonds.
It puts the Ashfield club in a favourable position, as they receive a first-round play-off bye, and will face the winners of a match between the third and sixth-placed sides – likely to be Newcastle or Sheffield.

Ahead of the play-offs, they are in cup action against Workington in the League Cup and Somerset in the KO Cup.
