CAMI Brown admits he is looking for a full team performance as Glasgow bid to confirm their place in the SGB Championship play-offs tomorrow night.
It is a rare midweek fixture at the Peugeot Ashfield Stadium as the Tigers, who sit in third, host 10th-placed Newcastle Diamonds.
Brown had to rely heavily on his top three in Saturday’s defeat to Berwick – as Craig Cook, Rasmus Jensen and Claus Vissing scored 34 of their 41 points.
The team boss believes the rest of his side are capable of better and have the chance to put things right on home shale.
He said: “Through a combination of really bad weather and a few below-par performances it is taking us a while to seal our spot in the top four.
“But we could finally be at that stage tomorrow and I think a good win in front of our own fans could really help give us the kick on we need ahead of the business end of the season.
“I think we all need a bit of a boost and I am looking for the guys to deliver it tomorrow night. We have had some bad luck recently but it is time we made our own good luck and proved a point, right the way through from one to seven.
“We have had to wait since the end of July to deliver a big performance at home – but the guys have shown they can do it against the best teams and there is no reason why we shouldn’t be able to give that to the supporters tomorrow.
“If we can do it, then we can start really planning for our challenge for the title.”
Three points would put the Tigers on to 38, one more than can be achieved by another side. It would also see them move into second place, ahead of Redcar Bears.
The meeting starts at the earlier time of 7pm rather than 7.30pm.
