Glasgow Speedway wish to express our sincere thanks and appreciation to all supporters who turned out in good numbers today to provide support to those riders representing the club in our league win – expected or otherwise – over Rye House Rockets.
As is now well documented, circumstances had conspired to heavily impact the make-up of our team today, making the scale of today’s vital league win – and collecting all 3 points into the bargain – all the more sensational and rewarding for everyone connected with the club.
We wish to thank all 6 riders who each played their part today both on track and behind the scenes, however above all else we thank you, our loyal supporters, for responding to the riders efforts and really getting behind Glasgow Speedway – you are a credit to this club.
We now look forward to next weekend entailing home and away league clashes with Workington Comets – look forward to seeing you all next Sunday.
