In a correction to our last update we now wish to advise that the start time for this Sunday’s Knock Out Cup Quarter-Final 2nd leg (V’s Newcastle) will be 5pm, and not 3pm as previously advertised.
The change to start time has been brought about by us requiring additional time for 3 of our riders to travel back to Glasgow from meeting’s the evening before – Tero is competing in Finland, whilst Saturday night is also the re-staging date for the FIM Europe U21 Championship Final (Rybnik, Poland) which both Victor and Kasper have qualified for. All three riders have secured passage back to Scotland on Sunday, however a 5pm start will allow them vital travel and preparation time ahead of lining-up to face the Diamonds.
Given the prestige of the U21 event, we wish both Victor and Kasper the very best of luck and hope that they may be able to add to their recent rostrum finishes in respective U21 national finals.
We expect to have Rusty back in the side for Sunday, and therefore will be back to full strength to tackle the Diamonds as we look to try and overturn a 16 point deficit.
