There have, unfortunately, been many low points this season however it is fair to say that on top of those the events of last week and the destruction of our invaluable bar facility has been a considerable blow to the club.
Its loss is not just physical. It is definitely practical, it is also symbolic and perhaps most crucially for us there is a significant financial impact too.
We’ve now had time to gather our thoughts, to react to what has happened and quite simply we need to adapt and move forwards to close out this season.
We have been mightily encouraged by the wave of mainly sympathetic and supportive comments, as well as offers of help, from the speedway community at large, and from our own supporters in particular. We thank you all.

This sense of all pulling together is exactly what we need at this time, we have taken great encouragement and strength from this. We must place all frustrations and disappointments to one side, we must all unite and ensure that we can build ourselves a much more positive future.
