Glasgow No 1 Nick Morris will be forced to sit out tomorrow’s meeting with Workington – and potentially a number of other key clashes for the Tigers – after he was injured last night.
The 21-year-old Australian was guesting for Somerset as they took on Plymouth at the Oaktree Arena when he had a coming together with Devils rider Ryan Fisher at the conclusion of heat 13.
It left Morris with a nasty gash to his elbow, which required stitches.
The news today is that he is facing a few weeks on the sidelines to recover from the injury.
That means Morris will certainly miss the Comets’ visit to the Peugeot Ashfield Stadium tomorrow (3pm), and he is a major doubt for the Tigers’ visits to Sheffield, Somerset and Rye House next week.
Redcar’s Lasse Bjerre will guest at No 1 for Glasgow tomorrow.
