GLASGOW’S representatives in the Championship Riders’ Individual had mixed fortunes.
Craig Cook was defending the title but retired in each of his first three races with apparent machinery trouble, then withdrew from the meeting.
Meanwhile Rasmus Jensen also ran two lasts in his first two heats – then rallied to win two and get a second to finish on eight points. A couple more points would have seen him into the semi-final.
The eventual winner was Redcar’s Erik Riss, who headed home Danny King, Ryan Douglas and Sam Masters in the final.
