STEWART Dickson says Glasgow may need at least a couple of wins on the road to keep up their challenge at the top of the SGB Championship – starting today at Scunthorpe.
The Tigers taken on the Scorpions hoping to go to the summit of the league – a feat they’ll achieve if they take four points at the Eddie Wright Raceway.
Should they take three, for a win of six points or fewer, they will go joint-top with Ipswich, but with four matches still in hand over the Witches.
Glasgow currently sit on the same points as Edinburgh – 47 – but have raced two fewer meetings at this stage.
Team manager Dickson said: “We need to keep winning – it’s a long, long season with the 36 matches.
“It’s a marathon. We need to keep going but it’s great to be up there.
“I would say the report card at this stage is pretty good but I know we need probably another two or three wins on the road.”
The meeting will be busy with Tigers fans who are making their way home from the British Grand Prix in Cardiff last night.
