Following several weeks of intensive engagement with UKVI in connection with Glasgow Speedway’s application for a sponsorship licence to be able to bring non-EU qualifying riders to race for the club, we are highly delighted to have now received confirmation from UKVI that a new licence has been granted.
Work is now continuing, at speed and supported by UKVI, to process Kozza Smith’s application and ensure that he will, ideally, be able to line-up in time for opening day.
Kozza has been informed of progress throughout and is fully aware of the updated position. We hope that an even further advanced position may have been achieved within the next week, and will, along with Kozza’s manager Mark Blacklock, update supporters’ attending the GTSG event at Ibrox.
Another positive progress step amongst the very many to be in evidence around the club at the moment, all road’s lead to the new improved Ashfield Stadium for the launch of a new era on Sunday, 29th March..
