THE KO Cup final will be decided under the floodlights at the Peugeot Ashfield Stadium after dates were set for the Tigers’ showdown with Newcastle.
The sides will go head-to-head in the first leg a week on Sunday (October 23) with the return in Glasgow on Monday, October 24 at 7.30pm.
The Diamonds booked their place in the final after beating Rye House over two legs at the weekend.
It means a return to Ashfield for 2015 Tiger and club asset Victor Palovaara, while the likes of Team GB star Robert Lambert and Steve Worrall – twin of Glasgow’s own Richie – will ensure it’s a thrilling contest.
Meanwhile, the Tigers’ Premier League fixture at Edinburgh – which was called off on Friday due to a floodlight failure – has been rearranged for Friday, October 21.
