Glasgow fans are being urged to turn out in big numbers tonight for the League Cup semi-final clash with Sheffield.
The home Tigers have their first chance to make the final of a competition since getting to that stage of the KO Cup back in 2011.
The visitors are said to be bringing several supporters’ buses up from Yorkshire for the tie – a re-run of the meeting on Sky Sports last month.
For the home side, rider replacement will be in operation as new signing David Howe is sidelined through injury. However, James Sarjeant will return and will race at No 2 for the first time having stepped up from the reserve position.
Richard Lawson is back at No 5 with club captain Aaron Summers riding at No 3.
Sheffield will again employ the services of Somerset rider Josh Grajczonek, who started his career at Glasgow. He guests at No 1 in place of the injured Simon Stead. The spectacular Jason Garrity is at No 4 for the visitors with ex-Tiger Andre Compton at 5.
Tapes-up is at 7.30pm. Please note that season tickets are not valid for this match.
