Assessing Options

Without wishing to sound at all flippant, things really can only get better after recent events.

We know, as you do too, that it certainly hasn’t been all bad this season – we have already achieved such a lot under the Red Revolution banner.

Losing back to back home meetings is rarely a comfortable experience, and certainly the added magnitude of Sunday’s defeat has, we feel, created the need for some change and improvement – right here, right now it is what the club needs most in order to help us maintain the otherwise positive start to the Red Revolution.

Identifying available, or even prospective, options is not as clear cut as you might believe, particularly as our geographic location and race day often further limit us.

That said, we are exploring and following through on a number of options with a view to trying to piece together a solution which will both take us forward as a club, and which doesn’t put the club into financial stress.

These are our objectives.

Another variable for us to juggle with is

actual available points at different points in time.

Until we have completed our next 2 away meetings (scheduled to be next weekend at Plymouth and Leicester), neither of Joey, Harley or Joe J will achieve revised averages, these will then only become effective a week later. This means that, more immediately, we can only react to movements within the re calculated averages of the top 4 in order to consider any moves.

The key message is that we want you to feel assured that we are working on improving matters for you, for our sponsors and for our performing riders.

We will update you further, via Red Alert (and website), as soon as there is anything tangible to share.
