Following a week of careful and considered work behind the scenes, Glasgow Speedway received the pleasing news this afternoon that our appeal to secure BSPA endorsement to bring Joey Ringwood to Ashfield has been successful.
Glasgow Speedway would like to extend our sincere gratitude and appreciation to each of Motorcycling Australia, Mark Lemon, Rod Colquhoun, Shane Parker, Darcy Ward, Mick Holder, Jason Doyle and Roger Fricke for their respective contributions in support of our appeal.
Additionally, we also wish to, again, thank the members of the BSPA Management Committee for their further consideration with regards to this issue.
The strength of the collective recommendations from the above confirms our view that Joey is the talent that we have always recognised. Mick Holder alone has described Joey as “an Australian Tomasz Gollob” and “an extremely talented motorcyclist”
As in the case for Harley, we will now proceed in taking forward Joey’s application to the next stage with the full endorsement of the BSPA.
