Tigers Complete

Dear Tigers fan ,

We wanted you to be amongst the first to share in welcoming 22 year old Joey Ringwood to complete the new look Tigers line up for 2013

Joey comes highly recommended by our contacts in Aussie (including Mick and Chris Holder) who believe that, after switching disciplines from Moto X only 2 years ago, Joey has a big speedway future.

Just last week Joey, despite being handicapped by a broken thumb sustained in a crash last month, was seeded to the Australian Solo qualifier at Gillman. He did fail to qualify however did manage to perform respectably including managing to beat Cameron Woodword.

Perhaps more noteworthy for Tigers fans is that, in his last pre injury meeting, also at Gillman, Joey was one of only two riders (the other being meeting winner Ty Proctor) to head home Ashfield legend Shane Parker in the Jack Young Cup.

As is the case with Harley Horwood, the club will also have to secure a work sponsorship agreement for Joey before he can board a plane headed for Glasgow airport this Spring.
