Dear fellow Tigers fan,
As January rolls out, and a new month arrives, the sense of speedway anticipation grows.
Next up for your speedway social diary is next Saturday nights STARs event which, as ever, promises to be highly informative and entertaining.
The event, to be held in the Marriott Hotel (doors open 6:30pm, event time 7:15pm to 10:30pm), will be headlined by an excellent guest panel of 7 times British Champion Scott Nicholls (accompanied by former SKY Sports presenter, the lovely Mrs Sophie Nicholls!), and Team GB and Poole team boss Neil Middleditch.
In addition to the speedway insight, knowledge and opinion shared by the guest panel, supporters will also be treated to some updates from the Glasgow management team and from Tigers team manager Sean Courtney.
Another highlight of this STARs night will be the induction, to the Tigers Hall of Fame of Jimmy Beaton Snr. and former star rider Charlie Monk.
In typical STARs fashion there will also be an excellent speedway auction featuring, amongst other items, some signed Scott Nicholls prints, a signed Jason Crump print and a much prized Glasgow Tigers 1993 race jacket.
Admission on the door is Adults £10, Concessions £8, Under 16 £2, Growlers Members Free
This is a not to be missed event, and of course a perfect way to spend an evening in the company of fellow Tigers fans.

Sunday Work Party (10th Feb)
We would be grateful to anyone available to help us with some stadium work next Sunday. Principal task is to empty the contents of the family room/bar area on the 4th bend in preparation for its demolition ahead of the new season. There will also be plenty of painting tasks too. Thank you in advance.
