The Glasgow Tigers have brought local junior James McBain into the squad for the final few meetings of the season.
The rider who is having to make way is Filip Sitera, who after a good initial start has suffered a dip in form, and after discussions, it was agreed that Filip’s travelling costs were to costly, for both parties, to continue in his current form. We wish Filip all the best for the future.
With all our remaining meetings likely to be on northern tracks, subject to the play-off groupings, it was felt an ideal time to give youngster James an opportunity at reserve, to show his potential for inclusion in future Tigers squads.
James has impressed so far this season with guest appearances, including a memorable appearance for Rye House, he will make his debut at Edinburgh on Friday.
Mark Lemon will be guesting for the Tigers on Friday, in place of the injured Joe Screen.
The guest for the trip to Workington is still to be confirmed.
