The 2014 Allied Vehicles Tigers are now complete.
Following weeks of effort in attempting to first bring Joey Ringwood back to Scotland, recent attention had turned to finding his replacement to complete the side and partner Anders Thomsen at reserve.
We are very pleased to now be able to confirm that Tigers will have an all Danish reserve pairing to start the season, with 19 year old Kasper Lykke becoming the man to partner Anders.
Lykke, who last season raced for Rye House, scored several double figure Premier League returns for an average of 4.04.
The addition of Kasper takes our aggregate starting team average to 42.34.
The rider comes with a glowing reference from Rockets supremo Len Silver, and has shown great interest in joining Glasgow for the season ahead. He will travel to the City for our forthcoming Press & Practice event on Wednesday, 26th March.
Kasper has also indicated that he wishes to be based in the City if at all possible this season, and we therefore would be delighted to hear from any supporter who may be able to accommodate, or assist, him during 2014. Ideally there should be workshop/garage space however accommodation is more important. If you feel you may be able to assist, and help make the youngster feel at home here in Glasgow, please contact us by email in the first instance info@glasgowtigers.co
Welcome to the Stripes Kasper!
