They’re up, up and away …and UK bound.
After the various trials and tribulations in recent months around securing the necessary authorisations and paperwork to be able to race for Glasgow in this year’s Premier League, we are delighted to confirm that by the time you read this, BOTH riders should be mid air and headed initially for Heathrow.
Joey will set off from Sydney, with Harley (and Dad Paul) jetting out from Brisbane, before all meeting up in Singapore for the final leg of their air borne journey.
Harley and Joey have made arrangements to collect their UK based equipment en route up to Glasgow, and all going to plan both will cross the border (tired and weary!) into Scotland on Sunday afternoon.
With the weather forecast for the UK this weekend, chances are that both lads will see more snow than they ever have before!
We look forward to next Wednesday evening (Ashfield Bar from 7pm) when you will be able to extend both lads, as well as the remainder of the 2013 side, a warm welcome to Glasgow.
