TOM BRENNAN says Glasgow must bring their “A game” to reach the Championship Grand Final.
The Allied Vehicles Tigers take on Oxford in a win or bust clash at Ashfield tonight (Tuesday).
To reach the final, they must beat the Cheetahs by 11 points at least to gain the win and aggregate bonus point. That will set up a mouthwatering Grand Final with Poole for the league title.
Brennan said: “This is it now, it’s the big one I guess. We need to deliver our A game to beat Oxford.
“We have done it recently, we won 51-39 last month. But this is different, they know what they have to do and will be going all out to defend their lead.
“It’s massive for us. We are looking to try and reach a fourth Grand Final in eight years and a third in four seasons.
“We definitely have the riders and ability to achieve it. Oxford are a good side but I think we can do the job and we need to prove it now.
“Poole await in the final and we want another crack at them. They beat us in the final in 2021 and in the semi-final last year. But we’ve got to get there first and Tuesday night at Ashfield is going to be huge for us.”
