TEAM boss Cami Brown hailed hero reserves Max Perry and Freddy Hodder after a sensational win at Berwick.
After it finished 45-45, the Allied Vehicles Tigers grabbed a last-gasp Super Heat victory at Shielfield Park.
Harris and Howarth both came from the back around the first two bends in the decider to snatch the glory.
But the vital scoring from Perry and Hodder throughout was also the deciding factor.
Brown said: “It’s a massive result considering we were missing half our team.
“In the end it was our experienced pair of Chris Harris and Kyle Howarth who got the job done. They produced real grit and determination on the first bend in the Super Heat to force themselves in front.
“But the result is just as much down to our reserves Freddy and Max who produced a brilliant Heat 14 to share the race and give us a chance to get the result.
“It was such a tricky night making sure we used the right riders in different races.
“We were left vulnerable in a few races but our lads really stepped up when we needed it most.
“To manage to get the points in such difficult circumstances is very satisfying.
“I was really disappointed the night before after winning by just four at Ashfield. But it’s a complete contrast of feeling now.
“The boys really dug deep and showed so much spirit. This is such a fabulous result.”
