Dear Tigers fan
By now we are sure that your Christmas tree is bedecked in red and white, with coordinating baubles of course, and that you and family are getting excited at the prospect of Santa Claus (himself clearly a Tigers fan judging by his suit!) bringing an array of festive goodies to enjoy.
Many of you good folk will be hoping for speedway, and Tigers, themed gifts this year. Other than DVDs or books, of course there is still time to order a Glasgow Speedway 2013 Season Ticket, to be safely delivered in time for Christmas if you are quick. More of that shortly.
We bring you exciting news.
We are absolutely delighted to advise that we have agreed terms with our 5th team member, and will announce him shortly once we have been able to complete all necessary formalities.
We can tell you that he is a young, exciting talent which ticks lots of boxes in building for the future. Well worth highlighting too that this young man is extremely keen to race for Glasgow.

We would like to say a huge THANK YOU to all our supporters who have applied for a season ticket in 2013.
We are pleased to report that sales are up on last year and we are working hard to process these with a view to ensuring they are delivered (inclusive of the complimentary admission tickets and Tigers DVD!) well in time for Christmas.
Please note that the discount period for season ticket purchases ends on the 15th of December.
The best, and quickest, way to take advantage of this is to visit the Season Tickets Page of the club website and either:
1. download the application form (to be sent, with your cheque) to the address shown, or
2. securely purchase your season ticket online using a debit/credit card (or PayPal account).
Please note that online purchases do carry a surcharge (as detailed) to cover the payment processing fees which are levied.
Remember that all season ticket purchases made within the discount period will also qualify for issue of complimentary admission tickets (allowing you to introduce someone who is new to speedway to our exciting sport) and also an exclusive free speedway DVD!
All will be packaged and posted to you alongside the season ticket.
We really do believe that our season tickets offer terrific value for money as is echoed by the take up to date.

On track.
As you know we have already carried out some work to reshape the inside line around the circuit, having widened each of the straights. This work has also allowed us to greatly improve the back straight drainage which has previously caused some issues for both the speedway and football clubs, early signs are that already this has delivered improved conditions following heavy rain.
The recent sub zero temperatures have impacted our ability to perform some heavier duty work on the track.
With the milder conditions expected next week, we are hopeful of being able to blade the track, restoring it to a much smoother condition as well as lowering the banking a little at each end. It would be terrific, as planned, if we could complete this work this side of the New Year.
So, there are lots of things happening, and lots of exciting news yet to announce in the weeks and months ahead.
The journey has only just begun, we want you to follow, and support, us along every step of the way between now, 2013 and beyond!
