GLASGOW boss Cami Brown is urging his side to keep their home “momentum” going as they aim to finish their home league programme unbeaten.
Birmingham visit Ashfield on Friday to complete the home round of SGB Championship fixtures.
Two away fixtures remain – against Redcar and Plymouth later this month – before the play-offs get under way.
The Tigers can still finish second and go straight into the semi-finals, but for now Brown is focusing on taking care of the Brummies.
He said: “We’re very proud of our home record and I think we’re building momentum at home. We need to keep that going.
“Birmingham maybe aren’t the strongest team but they will likely come with good guests and they will give us a test. We don’t take anyone lightly.
“We’ve dropped two points at home this season against Poole, when some of our riders weren’t riding well, but I don’t think if they were here now Poole would find it so easy.”
Captain Ulrich Ostergaard has a broken hand after a crash against Edinburgh on Sunday and misses out, with former Tiger Paul Starke guesting, but No 1 Craig Cook is hoping to return after he missed the Scottish derby.
