CAPTAIN Chris Harris says his side have to “positive” to the very end of the campaign.
The Allied Vehicles Tigers face a win or bust clash in the Cab Direct Championship at Edinburgh tonight.
Any play-off hopes are hanging by a thread and only maximum points at Armadale and against Oxford at Ashfield on Sunday will give the league champs any hope of defending the title.
Harris said: “We have had to fight all year, there have not been many easy meetings here all season.
“There have been ups and downs for all of us. We fight for the badge as they call it.
“It’s a very young team and I feel like the granddad of the lot of them!
“We’ve just got to make sure we win our last meetings and sign off in the most positive way we can.
“It’s nice to see some of the boys really step it up when it’s been needed.
“Everyone has played their part and battled hard despite difficult circumstances at times.
“We have lost Stevie (Worrall) but Anders (Rowe) has come in and he’s also done an excellent job considering it’s been at No.5 for most of the time.
“Anders has had to do a second heat leader role and try and replace Stevie.
“Some of the results on the road have been disappointing but the teams we’ve been up against have been tough like Poole and Oxford recently.”
With Leon Flint away on SGP2 duty in Latvia, Ben Barker comes in as a guest and Max Perry replaces the injured Jason Garrad.
