NEW TIGERS stars Matic Ivacic and Jason Garrad will have racesuits supporting Beatson Cancer and Marie Curie charities.
Both riders will don the new kevlars for Glasgow’s vital Cab Direct Championship clash against Poole at Ashfield on Friday night.
The club have made it a priority to work with the local community and charities on on behalf of parent company Allied Vehicles.
Tigers co-owner and Allied Vehicles chairman Gerry Facenna said: “We are delighted to continue the tradition at the club and raise funds for local projects and charities.
“Matic and Jason will have suits supporting Beatson and Marie Curie. We are proud to have that association with both vital causes in Glasgow and beyond.”
Allied Vehicles have been supporting Beatson Cancer Charity and Marie Curie for many years.
Marie Curie was donated a wheelchair accessible vehicle for their volunteers to collect and drop off patients and Beatson were regularly chosen as the charity for staff fundraising events.
When the Allied Vehicles Charitable Trust was founded in February 2022, both Beatson Cancer Charity and Marie Curie were in the first month of recipients and have both continued to be supported.
Allied Vehicles recently pledged to support Beatson Cancer Charity with a donation of £250,000 over the next five years.
