GLASGOW are out of the KO Cup after they failed to overcome a 12-point deficit in the second leg of their quarter final tie against Redcar.
Despite winning on the night, the Tigers never got close to making up the difference against a reinvigorated Bears side who handed debuts to two riders.
There were some positives for Cami Brown’s team as recent signing Connor Bailey had his best performance since joining the club – almost getting his first win in heat two then passing the impressive Nathan Greaves in his third ride to a raucous reception from the crowd.
The 46-44 result on the night also means the Tigers maintain their unbeaten home record, though the difference on aggregate was 10 points.
Sixteen-year-old Bailey was voted rider of the night – watch him giving his reaction to the meeting in our video HERE.
Next up for Glasgow is a visit from Birmingham in the SGB Championship on Friday July 12, followed by another home meeting against Newcastle on July 19.
