GLASGOW boss Cami Brown insists it is not job done yet despite his Tigers roaring to a 22-point lead in their Championship play-off semi-final against Edinburgh.
The Ashfield side were 56-34 winners in a dominant display in the first leg of the tie on Thursday.
Craig Cook pulled himself from his sickbed to romp to a 15-point maximum while five of his team-mates bagged wins or paid wins throughout the night.
The sides meet for the second leg at Armadale on Friday just a week after the Monarchs beat the Tigers there by 20 points in the KO Cup.
Brown said: “The riders have done us all proud. We asked them for a big reaction after a poor performance at Armadale last week and they’ve given us that tonight.
“But it’s only half time. We’re not counting our chickens at all after what happened last week.
“The message will be that it’s nothing-each, it’s half time. We don’t even have a lead. We go there to try and win a meeting first and foremost, and that’s what we’re going to try and do.
“I was a bit harder on the guys during the week. I think they needed a wee kick up the backside and they got it.
“Glasgow have got to be in the finals and the semi-finals, that’s the kind of club we are, and I would be really disappointed if we can’t make the final.”
Cameron Heeps – the Kent and former Edinburgh rider – guests for Glasgow at Edinburgh in place of Marcin Nowak, who is returning to Poland to get married.
The winners of the fixture will face Poole over two legs to determine this year’s league champions.
