TEAM boss Cami Brown is ready to put his new side through their paces in a gruelling boot camp.
The Allied Vehicles Tigers’ class of 2025 arrives at Ashfield Stadium tomorrow (Thursday) for their pre-season training.
Brown is excited to see how his captain Chris Harris and young guns are shaping up as they bid to reclaim the Cab Direct Championship this year.
He said: “The new season officially starts here and I can’t wait to get going.
“I think we have assembled a fantastic team for 2025. There’s an incredible mix of youth and experience. But overall it’s a very exciting side and they will be great to watch at Ashfield.
“But this weekend we get a first proper workout for the boys. We know they have been training hard already and some racing in America.
“It has become a very important part of our seasons to start it right with this boot camp.
“We get to gauge their fitness and what needs to be worked on with our coach Ray.
“We also have also of activities for the boys including a visit to Glasgow Warriors, go-karting, golf and hill climbs. That will help with team spirit. Although I have to admit they all get on so well already.
“The racing starts in just over a month. For me the season starts right now and vital early preparation.”
