GLASGOW boss Cami Brown believes a hectic schedule will “galvanise” his team.
The Allied Vehicles Tigers face five meetings in seven days starting with Berwick at Ashfield Stadium tonight (Friday).
It’s a crucial finale to the Cab Direct Championship campaign with so much riding on the results.
Brown said: “It’s a massive week. Obviously we want to finish as high up the league table as possible. We are fourth now but have meetings in hand. If we win them, we can top the league.
“While it’s a hard run of fixtures in such a short space of time, they may well help with a good spirit in the camp.
“After a stop-start season at times, it should galvanise the boys to be together so much.
“Following next week our Cab Direct Championship league campaign will be all but completed, just one more home meeting against Oxford on September 8 and away at Redcar on the 10th.
“It’s important to us to at least pick up three wins over the next week.”
Brown is also wary of a Berwick side that has been plagued with injuries but arrives at Ashfield with a lot of experience.
He said: “I don’t underestimate any team. Berwick have had a hard season but they have great riders who can all deliver on their night.
“It’s just important for us to stay focused and do our job at Ashfield and hopefully produce another cracking night of racing.”
Marcin Nowak misses tonight’s clash as he has a Polish league fixture for his club Stal Rzeszow.
