GLASGOW boss Cami Brown admits it’s a “huge boost” that Tom Brennan can race at Berwick.
The Allied Vehicles Tigers captain was due to miss tonight’s (Saturday) BSN Series clash at Shielfield Park due to being on Great Britain duty in the Czech Republic.
But now the meeting in Pardubice has been delayed 24 hours and Brennan will be on show in Berwick.
Brown said: “It’s a huge boost for everyone. We had a guest lined-up but it’s always so important to have a full strength side.
“We know we have a really solid team who all go well at Berwick. Tom is also especially good round there, so I know we have the ability to get a result.
“It was frustrating that our home meeting was rained off last night. We were eight points in front when the heavens opened. It was far too dangerous to carry on.
“But the boys will be ready to go again. I like the way the team is shaping up. Everyone is really fired-up to get our first away win of the season.”
Brennan is also delighted that he can turn out for the Tigers and GB in the same weekend.
He added: “It’s good that I can still go to Berwick. I really enjoy the track and being with the Glasgow team. I didn’t want to miss it.
“It was a downer to have the rain-off on Friday night. There wasn’t really an option. The rain was getting heavier and the track became a swamp.
“But we are determined to get a result at Berwick. It’s another tough meeting for us. However, the boys just want to get a winning run going, so we’ll give it everything.”
