GLASGOW’S Tom Brennan says they must come out “all guns blazing” to beat Redcar.
The Allied Vehicles Tigers needed to overturn a 16-point deficit in the second leg of their KO Cup quarter-final at Ashfield tonight (Tuesday).
Brennan, 21, believes that his side have got the mentality to pull off a massive comeback.
He said: “The boys all reckon we can do it. If they can do it to us, we can do it to them.
“It won’t be easy. They have got riders who know Ashfield really well. But we are fired-up.
“We know the Tigers fans will make it loud all night and get behind us, we really need that.
“It’s a mountain to climb but such a massive incentive to get a result. The spirit in the squad is so good and we are pumped for this.”
Brennan also believes that a strong start to the meeting is vital for the home side.
He added: “We need to come out all guns blazing. Hit them hard and early. They are all cliches but they are true.”
*Ben Basso will miss tonight’s clash due to a hand injury sustained at Peterborough. Justin Sedgmen comes in as a guest at No.3.
