Dear fellow Glasgow Tigers fan, we wanted to personally extend our thanks and sincere appreciation to you for supporting our call to turn out and save Glasgow Speedway.
The reception and positive feedback we received over the weekend just goes to show that we have not only the best Speedway club but also the best supporters in the world.
Speaking upon return to his Denmark home following a weekend of key discussions, new club owner (together with Gordon Pairman) Alun Biggart was clearly delighted with events:
I thoroughly enjoyed my weekend back in Glasgow, and that was entirely down to the warmth and show of support for this club by our truly fabulous supporters.
The turn out on Saturday night was simply amazing, with almost 400 passionate supporters there 😉
To see and sense the excitement in that room is something I, and my team, have taken an awful lot of positive energy from.
Sunday too was very enjoyable, I was given many good wishes for the future, and I sincerely appreciate each and every one of those.
Thank you to everyone who took time to come along.
We have now held a number of initial discussions on several key areas for next season, and I am very pleased indeed to report that these have all gone positively.
We will ensure that we keep everyone updated as appropriate and share this journey with us.
Watch this space
Best Speedway Wishes
Alun, Gordon, Colin, Craig, Derek and Ian
