GLASGOW boss Cami Brown was delighted with his side’s “ruthless” performance against Berwick.
The Allied Vehicles Tigers beat the Bandits 63-27 in the Cab Direct Championship at Ashfield on Friday night.
The home side started in fine style with four 5-1 race wins in the opening five heats and never looked back.
Both Chris Harris and Ben Basso delivered maximum scores for the Tigers while Lee Complin produced his highest-ever points total as a Tiger with paid 13.
Brown said: “We were definitely red-hot tonight. The boys looked right up for it and put in a powerhouse show.
“In fairness Berwick had a tough night with some mechanical issues but we showed a ruthless streak.
“I like that a lot. We are going to need that a great deal more over the next month or so.
“All the boys looked brilliant. I was delighted for Lee Complin, Ace Pijper and Tom Brennan who delivered really big performances.
“We now need to deliver again at Berwick tonight (Saturday) get another win and the bonus point.
“That would be the perfect boost before a really tough week down south with meetings at Plymouth, Poole and Scunthorpe.”
