With the 2014 team make-up settled and the month of January slipping quickly by, attention is now turning increasingly to readying the track and stadium ahead of tapes-up on March 30th.
The club would greatly appreciate any supporter assistance to the weekly Sunday working parties which are due to commence on 2nd February from 10:30am – a range of tasks will be available inclusive of general tidying, weeding and painting. Please bring any tools and equipment if possible.
With some time still in hand we would very much like to remind supporters that any further ‘fence fund raising’ initiatives and donations would be very welcome indeed as we look to greatly, and vitally, minimise the required outlay to the club in relation to total cost for the purchase, transportation, installation, training, servicing and ongoing maintenance (plus purchase of necessary related equipment and storage facility when not in use) of our air fence for the new season.
With huge thanks to everyone who has contributed to the fund raising to date, the current fund total stands at £7642 (as at 16 Jan). Ideally, we seek your continued support over the remaining weeks in helping us uplift this figure to a value of £12,000 which would invaluably then minimise the funding which the club would have to additionally contribute ahead of the season.

Air Fence Advertising
At this time we would also like to make publicly available the opportunity to purchase air fence advertising panels for any businesses or individuals – these will be sold on a first come, first served basis with the arrangement remaining in effect for 2 seasons – please click on this link for full details. This offers a terrific, and exceptionally cost effective (given the 2 season duration), opportunity to promote any business to the speedway public and beyond.
We now seek enquiries from business, or referrals from supporters (with contact details provided please), in respect of purchasing air fence advertising for a 2 year period. It is also our intention to hold back at least one fence panel to feature all names of individual supporters who would be interested to support this initiative, at a cost of just £50 covering that same 2 year period.

Following its success last season we are again offering supporters / business access to wider sponsorship opportunities in respect of the following categories (all offered on a first come, first served basis):
Race Jackets – a very popular form of sponsorship. You will receive a keepsake photo presenting your rider with his Glasgow race jacket, and you will be presented with your own replica Tigers race jacket to take home! Total cost is just £300. (*please nominate which rider’s race jacket you wish to sponsor)
Heat Sponsorship – due to previous demand we are offering the ability for 2 heat sponsors per heat in 2014! Shared heat sponsorship (entailing programme, public address and DVD accreditations) is priced at £200, whilst exclusive heat sponsorship is just £350 for the full season!

Tyre Sponsorship – Sponsoring on a ‘per tyre, per meeting’ basis at £35 this is a vital form of sponsorship which greatly helps the riders and the club over the course of a speedway season – Tyre sponsorship can be purchased online, via PayPal, from this link .
All 2014 race jacket, heat and tyre sponsors will receive accreditation via the club’s website and match day programme (heat sponsors will receive additional public address accreditation).
