TIGERS “SUPER-HUNGRY” FOR SUCCESS

GLASGOW boss Cami Brown admits his side are “super-hungry” for more success.

The Allied Vehicles Tigers begin their season in the BSN Series at Berwick tonight (Saturday).

Brown says that preparation for the defending league champions has been perfect ahead of the trip to Shielfield Park.

He said: “That league win is now in the history books. It was a brilliant feeling and it was important for our fans.

“But now we are super-hungry to back it up. Retaining anything is very difficult but so is winning anything in the first place.

“We have built another very strong side. So much happens during a season but at this moment, the balance and spirit looks good.

“As per usual we will give it 1000 per cent to bring home more silverware.

“I can’t wait to get the boys together for a new season. Last October seems such a long time ago now.

“I actually think winning the title has made us all even more motivated to do it again. People have asked me whether we will relax now we’ve won the league.

“Not at all. The feeling I get from everyone is that we want that glory again.

“It’s so tough in speedway to defend a title because you almost always have to dismantle a winning team because of the team points limit.

“So to do it again would be a massive achievement. It’s going to be so difficult but we can’t wait to get going.”
