TEAM BOSS Cami Brown believes his side will need to find “something special” against a new-look Birmingham.
The Allied Vehicles Tigers go to Perry Barr tonight in the Cab Direct Championship seeking a fourth away win of the season.
However the Brummies have strengthened up considerably since their early woes in the campaign.
Brown said: “There’s no doubt that Birmingham are a completely different proposition than they were a month or so ago.
“They now have a strong side from one to seven and we will need to produce something special to get a result.
“I’m naturally confident that we can do that. We’ve got a very decent record at Perry Barr in recent seasons and I obviously want that to continue.
“We’ve been good on the road this year with three wins already at Berwick, Scunthorpe and Edinburgh. Equally we’ve had some poor shows at Redcar and Poole, so I’d like a bit more consistency from the boys.
“I think they want to get back in the groove a bit after the defeat at Poole a week ago.
“Tom Brennan has certainly been under the weather and took a massive knock at Poole with the crash in Heat 7. He hasn’t been himself for the last couple of weeks.
“But hopefully he is back to being fully fit. Chris Harris was sensational at Ashfield on Friday against Redcar and Claus Vissing also produced his best display of the season.
“A lot of the boys have either ridden for Birmingham or know the track well, so we go there with a lot of belief to get the result.”
