TEAM boss Cami Brown believes his side face a “huge task” against rivals Edinburgh.
The Allied Vehicles Tigers go to Armadale tonight (Friday) for a crucial Cab Direct Championship clash.
Both sides are fighting it out in the top four as they bid to secure their places in the play-offs.
Glasgow go into the clash with two guests for the absent Kyle Howarth and injured Mario Hausl with Nick Morris and Reid Battye coming in.
Brown said: “There’s no doubt that it’s a huge task for us to get a result at Edinburgh.
“They have been stronger than us so far this season but we did get a draw at Armadale earlier in the campaign.
“It’s always difficult using guests. We have not had the best of luck in that situation so far this season.
“Kyle was an Armadale specialist but Nick also enjoys racing there so we are confident he can do a really good job for us.
“Mario picked up a knock in Denmark during the week so Reid comes in at reserve. He’s had a brilliant debut season in the Championship.
“It’s still very tight to secure our place in the top four. We are a point behind Edinburgh and Redcar in fifth just two points behind us, but they have less meetings left.
“A couple more wins for us should be enough and we go to Edinburgh to get the victory we need.
“We really need the boys to step it up again. We had a good purple patch with wins at Oxford and Workington. However I think losing Kyle has knocked us back a bit. Hopefully that can change on Friday night.
“We will have a huge contingent of the red and white army of Tigers fans on the third bend. We need to get the result for them.”
