TIGERS “BUZZING” FOR ACTION

GLASGOW boss Cami Brown says his side are “buzzing” to get the season started.

It’s now just a month before the Allied Vehicles Tigers’ first home meeting of 2025 against Edinburgh in the Scottish Cup on April 11.

Brown has been delighted with the preparation from all the young squad.

He said: “It’s fair to say that everyone is buzzing to get going.

“We have a great group of lads this season. You can feel the enthusiasm. Everyone is itching to get back on track.

“The recent training camp was excellent and I could see a lot of really hungry lads who want to succeed.

“That’s what this club wants. I think we have got a bunch of of guys who will give 100 per cent in every race. It’s going to be exciting.”

The Tigers go to Armadale first on April 4 and then back at Ashfield a week later in the first Scottish Cup ties since 2018.

Brown added: “There’s nothing quite like starting the season with two meetings against the Monarchs. They are the fixtures the fans look forward to the most.

“Our recent record against the Monarchs has been decent but we’ve not won the Scottish Cup for a while, so that’s on our tick list.

“This is always a special time of the year. We just can’t wait to get the action start and see what this team can deliver.”
