SPEEDWAY’S biggest rivalry returns this weekend as the sport’s two Scottish sides meet for the first time this season.
After a bumper crowd watched a spectacular opening fixture for Glasgow at the Peugeot Ashfield Stadium two weeks ago, there’s expected to be even bigger interest when they take on the Edinburgh Monarchs in the Championship Shield.
The Monarchs host the Tigers on Friday night before the sides meet in Possilpark on Sunday at 5pm.
Children under 12 can attend Sunday’s meeting free of charge with a paying adult.
