TEAM boss Cami Brown believes his side can deliver a “special performance” against Poole.
The Allied Vehicles Tigers travel to Dorset for a crucial Cab Direct Championship clash tonight.
It’s the first time the sides have met since the Grand Final last October which the Pirates won narrowly in the Super Heat tense decider.
Glasgow go into the fixture without Kevin Juhl Pedersen who is racing in a Danish title and Mario Hausl is injured. Luke Harrison and Jack Smith come in as guests.
Brown said: “Poole is always a tough place to go and a track extremely hard to pass on.
“The boys will need to be sharp out of the starts. We will need to deliver a special performance.
“It’s hard to go into any meeting missing your own riders. But I believe that Luke and Jack can do the job we need from them.
“We have had some epic battles with Poole over the past few seasons. They’ve beaten us in two Grand Finals and we’ve defeated them in one.
“To be fair, we’ve not pushed them in the regulation league fixtures at Wimborne Road and that needs to change.
“We just need to all click on the same night. Chris Harris has had a small blip but I expect that to change and he’ll be back to his incredible best.
“He’s been voted by the fans as the Rider of the Year for the past two seasons for good reason. He’s the most exciting rider in the Championship.
“We’ll have to be firing on all cylinders to get the result we want against the Pirates.”
