Chris Harris
AN outstanding captain who led the Tigers to the Cab Direct Championship title in 2023.
Nicknamed ‘Bomber’, he is one of the best British riders of the Millennium era.
Over the past 20 years he has produced some of the most memorable moments in British speedway. He won the British Grand Prix at Cardiff in 2007 with an epic last bend pass to take victory. He also famously got up after being run-over in a race to win the league title for Coventry at Poole in 2010.
Harris has won three British Championship titles, three top flight league titles and over 11 other domestic trophies. His trademark exciting style and never-say-die attitude makes him one of the biggest names in the sport.
He was named Cab Direct Championship Rider of the Year for 2024 and 2025. This is his fifth stint as a Tiger in 2026.
