JAMES PEARSON says he is determined to win medals after joining Glasgow.
The hot prospect Australian is the final piece of the signing jigsaw for the Allied Vehicles team for 2024.
Pearson, 18, joins Chris Harris, Steve Worrall, Leon Flint, Paul Starke, Lee Complin and Ace Pijper to complete the side.
He admitted: “It’s an awesome move for me. To join the Championship league winners is a dream.
“I really love the track and the fans up at Glasgow. I think it’s a place where I can settle in and score a lot of points.
“It’s tough to come over from Aussie and make a mark in the UK. It’s been a hard two years learning curve for me.
“But now I want to really progress. I know I’ve got the ability to up my game and help Glasgow defend the title.
“It’s really important to me to be part of a winning team. I think that can help push me and motivate me further. I’ve been really impressed with Glasgow and now it’s about delivering results. It’s going to be an exciting season.”
Team boss Cami Brown believes the club have signed one of the hottest new prospects from Australia.
He said: “James has always impressed me whenever I’ve seen him race. He’s got a huge future in the sport.
“Glasgow have got a good record with promising Aussies and I feel that James can be a massive hit at the club.
“He’s got a great attitude, brilliant professionalism and he can go to the very top.”
