Glasgow Speedway wishes to extend our sincerest condolences to the families, and friends, of those who so tragically lost their lives in this afternoon’s events in the City’s George Square.
Our thoughts, prayers and best wishes too are with those injured and indeed all who have been affected by this terrible event.
Once again we also wish to express our gratitude to the City’s emergency services for their tremendous professionalism in such difficult circumstances.
We are rightly proud to represent this great City through our participation in sport and know full well how remarkable, resilient and supportive our fellow Glaswegians’ are – these are the key strengths which will allow this City to cope with, and once again come through tragedy.
