They may have had a marathon trip from Down Under and still be a little bleary eyed – but Joey and Harley are now delighted to be resident in Scotland!
Both lads have had an eventful road trip from the South having arrived at Heathrow Airport early on Saturday morning.
The road trip was designed to allow them to uplift equipment which had been pre purchased here in the UK, with both riders (and Harley’s Dad Paul) making their way up the country -giving them all plenty of time to become accustomed to their first sighting of snow! – before arriving at their home base this afternoon.
They are all very pleased to be here, highly excited about what lays ahead and about racing for Glasgow – both are also reporting feeling very cold having left behind near 30 degree temperatures in Australia!
Joey and Harley will meet up with their new team mates during this week, and of course meet supporters this Wednesday night in the Ashfield Bar @ 7pm.
