We are sorry to announce that James Wright has advised us of his decision to both step down from the team and to take a complete break from the sport, thus ending his time as a Glasgow rider.
As had been evident in recent weeks James has not been able to translate his professional preparation, nor his efforts on track, into the points return that he, or the club, would wish.
James actually indicated his decision following last Sunday’s defeat by Edinburgh, however to his credit decided to fulfill his commitment to line-up in last night’s Pairs final.
We wish to thank James for his contribution to the club, both on and off track, and sincerely wish him the very best fortune for his future.
