Tickets for individual matches for the 2019 season are now on sale here.
This season however, the £1 booking fee added to tickets for Glasgow Tigers matches will be paid for by Glasgow Tigers*, meaning that tickets both on the door and online will cost exactly the same to the customer.
In a statement, Tigers co-owner Gerry Facenna said: “we launched the online tickets through Ticket Arena last year to try and appeal to new fans”.
“In today’s society most, if not all tickets you buy are done digitally online so we needed a platform to do it and Ticket Arena worked well for us. One piece of feedback we received last year was that the difference in price from online when including the booking fee put people off buying them, we decided this year that we would swallow the booking fee so that more people would use the platform to get their tickets”.
“We want to attract as many new people as possible and this is a new step to do that. For those fans that aren’t season ticket holders, buying online is the easiest and most efficient way. Last season those that used the barcode tickets found it much easier and were able to skip the sometimes busy queues on match days.”
Tickets will still be available to purchase on the door as usual, you can view more information on ticket pricing here.
*Glasgow Tigers home matches only, this does not include any other events.
