GLASGOW boss Cami Brown says Sunday’s blockbuster match with Leicester will be their biggest test of the season.
The Tigers are comfortably into the SGB Championship play-offs but could still qualify directly for the semi-finals by finishing second.
The sides last met at Ashfield in the 2019 play-off final, which Leicester won over two legs.
Brown says he expects no less of a challenge this time around from the team led by former Glasgow boss Stewart Dickson.
He said: “We’re into the play-offs but we need to be winning on Sunday if we want to get second.
“If we can win our last two meetings we’ll have a great chance of catching Redcar.
“But we know that Sunday will be our hardest home match of the season.
“Leicester are a strong side and have the chance to finish in the top two themselves – so there’s an incentive to come here and win.
“We also go into it with confidence after two wins last weekend.
“It’s the sort of match we want to see at Ashfield and I’m sure the fans will enjoy seeing two of the top sides going all-out for the points.”
Broc Nicol will be back from Speedway of Nations duties with the USA for the meeting, while Polish signing Marcin Nowak makes his second home appearance.
