Glasgow Speedway would like to announce the formation of a new official Supporters’ club for season 2015.
Glasgow Tigers Speedway Supporters’ Club (GTSSC) and STARs will join forces to create the new Glasgow Tigers Supporters’ Group. The new Group has the full backing of the Promotion.
The STARs 100 Club will remain unchanged and 100 Club members will be contacted to advise them that there will be no change to the way the 100 Club is administered or to the monthly draws.
The 50/50 draw that takes place at Ashfield on a Sunday will remain in its existing format.
Travel to away meetings will be organised by the Group with more information to follow.
Membership is open to all fans with junior members aged between 5 and 16 years old also included in the Growlers Club. GTSG members will enjoy a range of benefits.
Membership forms will be available at the Winter event which will take place in the Ibrox suite at Ibrox Stadium on Saturday 28th February at 7.00pm and online from the Glasgow Speedway website from 28th February. Members of the Committee will be in attendance to answer any related questions.
As a reminder, the evening will offer Glasgow supporters’ the first opportunity to meet our new owners, Gerry and Michael Facenna. Confirmed guests, so far, are new club assets Richard Lawson and Aaron Summers, team manager Stewart Dickson will share his hopes for 2015, there will be a Hall of Fame induction plus the now traditional raffle and auction.
